While many may complain about the quality of GR Dunk colorways from The Swoosh, plenty of high-quality options are offered on the silhouette. Just recently, we have seen a variety of colorways on the “Premium” version of the Dunk Low receive official looks, like the “Sequoia” and “Neutral Olive.” Adding to the higher-quality Dunks, Nike is dressing the Dunk Low LX in a clean “Rugged Orange” exclusively for the ladies.
Premium suede overlays cover the overlays on the Dunk Low while we see a corduroy-like base layer take over the base. The titular rugged orange hue is present along the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay in a suede finish, while smooth leather on the Swoosh and heel tab comes in the same color. For the toebox, quarter panel, collar, and tongue, we see a sail finish applied that contrasts nicely with the rugged orange laces. Nike branding details, found atop the tongue, on the heel, and insole, come in gold in the last two locations, while the former features a mixture of gold and navy blue. Underfoot sits a creamy white rubber Dunk midsole paired with a rugged orange rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low LX Rugged Orange W will release July 28 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Releasing exclusively in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
