We’re used to seeing brand new Nike Dunk Low colorways pop up throughout the week, and it seems like the push for the low-top basketball silhouette will continue into the holiday season. With colorways like “Game Royal Sail” and “Beige Metallic Silver” popping up, the latest iteration comes in an iridescent form and takes on a “Black Royal” color scheme.
The typical mesh and leather construction are utilized for this colorway, though the materials themselves do come slightly elevated with tumbled leather and a sandwich mesh present on the overlays and tongue respectively. Accenting this is a smooth leather underlay, found on the toebox, collar, and quarter panel, with the latter of the three getting an iridescent makeover. The blue shades aren’t very obvious at first look as all of the leather overlays come piped with a royal blue while the 3D tongue tag and heel branding also borrow this hue. Along the midfoot, the black Nike Swoosh comes with an additional tag near its rear, featuring another Swoosh on the lateral side and the medial side hosting “Just Do It” text. Rounding out the look is the black rubber midsole paired with a royal blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Iridescent Black Royal is set to release this Holiday 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
