We’ve all grown accustomed to Nike trying to switch up their age-old designs, especially the Nike Dunk. From platform looks to “Scrap” construction, the silhouette is constantly seeing new improvements. One of the newer iterations of the Dunk is the women’s exclusive Disrupt 2, now appearing in a "Black Dark Beetroot" colorway.
Nike Dunk DNA is present as the general shape and style remain, though the overlays and branding details get an overhaul. On the toebox, midfoot, and collar, sits a black smooth leather while tumbled leather overlays in the same shade appear on the mudguard, slanted eyestays, and heel overlay. Along the midfoot, an embroidered dark beetroot-shaded Nike Swoosh sits just above an enlarged Swoosh constructed via a stitching outline. More dark beetroot hits appear on the additional heel suede overlay, pull tab, and on the mesh sockliner. Rounding out the look is the white Dunk midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Black Dark Beetroot W is slated to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
