To classics, like the returning “Kentucky” or “Syracuse” renditions, or collabs with Undefeated, Nike’s push for the Dunk Low silhouette has seen The Swoosh dress the 80s basketball-turned-lifestyle model in a variety of color schemes. Even with the hype not at the peak levels we saw throughout the last few years, new iterations continue to appear like the Nike Dunk Low “Canyon Rust Valerian Blue."
Coming in an all-leather construction, this Dunk mainly sticks to a two-tone color blocking with white accents landing on the branding details Nike Swoosh, tongue tag, and heel’s “Nike” embroidery. While the leather underlays come in valerian blue, the overlays along the mudguard, eyestays, and heel come in a dusty red Nike dubs “canyon red.” This shade takes over the lace set that runs atop a blue mesh tongue, stopping just below a blue tongue tag with white Nike branding. Our final hits of canyon red appear on the sockliner, insole, and heel tab while the entire design is rounded out by a white Dunk midsole and valerian blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Canyon Rust Valerian Blue W is set to release in the Spring of 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
