At this point, hearing about a new Nike Dunk colorway is like hearing the sky is blue, everyone knows that The Swoosh will continue to pump out the silhouette for some time. With plenty of “Certified Fresh” looks and chenille-covered Swoosh variants on the horizon, Nike is going back to the earth tone trend with the upcoming Nike Dunk Low "Brown Suede."
While the silhouette comes monochromatically covered in a single shade of brown, the usage of hairy and short-haired suede adds depth to the look. The latter of the two materials land on the toebox, midfoot panel, and collar, while the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay take on the former. Accenting orange hits appear on the laces and piping the cracked black leather Nike Swoosh on the midfoot, though it does appear that the material will wear away to reveal a fully orange Swoosh. Back on the heel tab, this same cracked black wear-away leather is home to a white embossed Nike Swoosh. Rounding out the look is the white Dunk midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Brown Suede is slated to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is TBA.
