Nike continues to find ways to elevate the Nike Dunk.

While the Swoosh has provided us with a full range of Nike Dunks enveloping the entire rainbow, they still find a way to provide new looks on the tried and true silhouette. Typically this is done through the change of materials, as seen on this upcoming Nike Dunk High “White China.” edition.

Although the entire silhouette is covered in white, the choice of materials and small details make this different from your typical Nike Dunk High. The leather on the upper varies between tumbled and smooth, featured on the overlays and the base respectively. Down on the perforated toebox, stars make up the center perforations on both pairs. Just above this, the tongue that usually features mesh is composed of a woven wicker-like material, working to a blank tongue tag.

As the only branding seen on the upper, the tumbled leather Nike Swoosh works back towards the heel overlay that features “Pick up” written in Chinese. More Chinese characters appear on the right pairs insole with “Be True To Your,” giving a nod to the original “Be True To Your School” campaign of the 80’s. All of this is rounded out to a white Dunk midsole and rubber outsole.

The Nike Dunk High White China is scheduled to release on March 1st, 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizes, retail is set at $110.
