The Nike Dunk High “World Champ” brings the color of royalty into the fold, as the slight variation in materials sets this apart from its GR, smooth leather counterpart.
Similar to the Nike Dunk High Panda, the Nike Dunk High World Champ features white and black colorblocking. White smooth leather underlays remain the only constant between the World Champ and its counterpart as the the rest of the World Champ pack swaps leather overlays for black nubuck. The white tongue and overlying white laces are accented by the black tongue tag with gold “NIKE” and Swoosh branding stitched into the tag. The back of the tongue, as well as the lining around the ankle collar, features a sleek satin purple, a stark contrast to the rest of the sneaker. The lace dubrae is the Nike World Champ belt dubrae, with the gold Nike Swoosh logo set inside a glossy black enamel. Finishing off the shoe is a simple white midsole and black outsole.
The Nike Dunk High World Champ will be released in September 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Nike Sportswear retailers worldwide, in-store and online for a retail price of $135.
