The Nike Dunk High Tartan Summit White Light Silver Is A Lesson In Textures

Over the past few weeks, the Beaverton sportswear giant has showcased a wide selection of sneakers outfitted in plaid patterns throughout, and we're definitely not complaining. Nicknamed the "Tartan" collection, the ever-expanding pack will no doubt be on of 2023's biggest and most popular drops, and we're now checking out one of the latest pairs to join the range with the Nike Dunk High Tartan "Summit White Light Silver."

While the Oregon brand could've just dropped another all-leather sneaker and called it a day, they decided to do something a little different here. Working on top of a summit white canvas upper, light silver panels wrap around the rest of the upper for a subtle yet striking contrast that is sure to turn heads. A textured Swoosh adorns the lateral and medial sides, and around the back, it's covered completely in a tartan pattern that extends from the bottom of the heel all the way to the top of the collar. An off-white midsole sits down below for a vintage vibe, finalizing the future classic.

Sneakerheads were bummed out when they found out that the Dunk High SE was going to be a grade school exclusive, so luckily enough, the Nike Dunk High Tartan Summit White Light Silver will be available in men's sizes and will release in January 2023 for $125 at Nike and select online and in-store retailers.
