A collage of colors helps create a unique Nike Dunk High.
The Nike Dunk, since its original release in the mid-80s, has received countless remixes from added accessories, new materials, and a color palette spanning the rainbow. Now on the latest women's exclusive Nike Dunk High, the silhouette gets a “Racer Blue Nylon” makeover.
Dressing the upper is a collage of white, racer blue, black, and rush orange across the various overlays and underlays. Around the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, a racer-blue-laden nylon material takes the place of standard leather. Accenting this is a white leather toebox, midfoot panel, and collar. Replacing the fine mesh usually located on the tongue is a white sandwich mesh that is contrasted by a set of flat black laces with silver aglets and rush orange lining. The tongue tag up top also gets a redesign, featuring an embroidered basketball, whistle, and text that reads “Designed To The Exact Specifications Of Her.”
Further branding comes in the form of a black leather Nike Swoosh with a textured finish. Inside the sneaker, an atomic green insole is surrounded by a bleached coral ribbed sockliner. The usual leather tab receives a button on the heel, allowing you to wear it loose. Rounding out the look is the white midsole and atomic green rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk High Racer Blue Nylon W is set to release in on July 7th, 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming exclusively in women's sizing, the retail price is $125.
