Chocolate and mocha colored apparel has become a trend since Travis Scott colored his pair of Air Jordan 1 Highs in 2018. Since then, brands across the board have not been afraid of adding it to their popular silhouettes. Nike is no different, recently revealing a release date for the Nike Dunk High “Light Chocolate.”
This particular Nike Dunk High is dressed in a combination of suede and leather across the upper, appearing in a mixture of sail, khaki and light chocolate. Shades of sail make their way onto the toe box, Nike Swoosh and heel overlay, accenting the khaki found on the eyelets, laces and mudguard. The real star of this colorway is the light chocolate suede adorning the midfoot panel and ankle collar, giving the colorway its name. Providing a contrast of color on this earth-toned sneaker is the Nike branding on the tongue tag in teal, with this same color present on the leather back heel pull tab. Rounding out the look is a sail-colored midsole paired with a light chocolate outsole.
The Nike Dunk High Light Chocolate is set to release February 23rd, 2022 on Nike SNKRS and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
