While the time of wearing the Nike Dunk as a performance basketball shoe has come and gone long ago, its history will never be forgotten. As the warmer weather hits and people start to go back outside, Nike Sportswear is looking to the past for inspiration on this upcoming Dunk High.
A phrase synonymous with pick-up games, this Nike Dunk High is known as the “I Got Next” edition. Coming in various shades of blue, this sneaker sports a pearlescent upper. Teal accents the toebox as well as the heel overlay while University Blue covers the eyelets, as well as wrapping around the toe, and hugging the collar.
The Swoosh on the sides, covered in patent leather comes in royal blue on the lateral and white on the medial, giving off a unique look. The phrase is “I Got Next” where this colorway gets its name from is showcased on the lateral heel. All this is finished off by beige side panels, a white midsole, and full icy blue translucent outsole.
The Nike Dunk High I Got Next is set to release on July 6th, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers worldwide in-store and online. Coming in men and gradeschool sizes, men's pairs will retail for $125.
