Nike’s Dunk has been the palette of choice when it comes to creative colorways, offering looks inspired by various mediums over the years. It seems that cartoons have been on repeat over in Beaverton as a few pairs of Nike Dunks, including the SB Dunk Low “Bart Simpson,” are bringing The Simpsons to life. Now his father Homer is being brought to life on a Nike Dunk High, following his low-top variant for kids.
Taking on a majority two-tone look on the silhouette, Homer Simpson’s standard outfit of a white t-shirt and blue jeans is translated onto the leather upper. Along the mudguard, eyelets, Swoosh, heel overlay, and sockliner, you’ll find hits of blue with the underlay taking on the colorless look. White flat laces work towards the top of the tongue, home to one of the few yellow hits. Back on the rear, the leather heel tab also partakes in Homer’s skin tone. Rounding out the look is the two-tone white and blue midsole and outsole combo.
The Nike Dunk High Homer Simpson is set to release in Holiday 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $115.
