The multitude of colors that basketball courts come painted to act as the muse for this Dunk High colorway, which features a unique printed insole. The Nike Dunk High “EMB” is seen with tan leather underlays, primarily visible on the toebox, quarter panels, and ankle collar. Black tumbled leather overlays take the shoe to a premium level, with the turquoise tongue tab allowing the Nike and Swoosh logos to feature prominently.
The upper’s Swoosh branding is split at the back heel tab, the lateral Swoosh is turquoise while the medial side is done in black. The unique pattern on the insole sets the background for the insole’s “Embedded” text at the heel. Various patches on the inner liner, just below the top of the ankle collar, add some context and history to the pair, while the white midsole and black outsole give the sneaker a minimal base to sit on top of.
