The history of the Nike Dunk is well intertwined with collegiate basketball programs, exemplified through the original “Be True To Your School” Pack released in 1985. Since then, countless retros of these colorways have proven to be some of the most popular to grace the silhouette. Now in 2022, Nike is set to honor the pack through the upcoming Nike Dunk High “BTTYS Wolf Grey.”
A mixture of tumbled leather and suede dress the underlays and overlays, coming in a two-tone grey-on-grey. Usual details remain with perforated leather on the toebox, a Nike Swoosh on the midfoot in white, and tonal stitching throughout. Laces take on a vintage cream look, working up the grey tongue. On the insoles, graphics featuring original advertisements for the “BTTYS” Pack are printed below “Nike Air” branding in white. Rounding out the look is the vintage cream midsole set to an icy semi-translucent rubber outsole with more advert graphics underneath.
The Nike Dunk High BTTYS Wolf Grey is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $120.
