The Dunk High 85 continues to get dominated in denim.
The Nike Dunk High is absolutely killing it this year. From high-heat collaborations with labels such as Pawnshop and SOULGOODS to sought-after collections inspired by fruit and NFL teams, hype surrounding the former basketball shoe has been at an all-time high. With all that said, we’re now taking our first look at the Nike Dunk High 85 “Royal Blue Denim."
The first thing that you’ll notice about this Dunk is its shape. Unlike most Dunk Highs released over the past 24 months, this one features the original shape that was introduced back in the ‘80s. This means that you’ll get a higher ankle collar for added support and a more curvaceous heel. Working on top of a summit white leather base, royal blue denim panels wrap around the rest of the upper. Contrast stitching gives the sneaker an even more eye-catching aesthetic, while a coconut milk midsole offers up a vintage vibe that we’ve fallen for. This is then finalized with a football grey rubber outsole that makes these extra wearable.
The Nike Dunk High 85 Royal Blue Denim is set to release in November 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $140.
