The Cosmic Unity 2 has got to be one of the most underrated basketball models in Nike's roster. The sequel to 2021's critically-acclaimed Cosmic Unity, absolutely every element and detail has been enhanced. After checking out the "Smells Like Team Spirit" earlier this season, we're now taking our first look at the Nike Cosmic Unity 2 "Sisterhood." Stepping out in a multi-material construction, the top half of the Cosmic Unity 2 is dressed in summit white mesh that has been engraved with a series of curves and grooves, while the bottom half opts for a coconut milk knit that has been infused with recycled materials for a more eco-friendly approach. Team red accents make their way throughout the upper, and across the lateral and medial sidewalls you'll find a university red Swoosh that is intricately carved with a moon surface texture. Underfoot, the Air Strobel midsole is dipped in a creamy shade for a vintage vibe, and to round it all off, the tongues are embellished with metallic gold badges complete with a basketball, Nike's "Just Do It" slogan, and the Roman numerals for "2023."
The Nike Cosmic Unity 2 Sisterhood will release around the same time as the Air Force 1, Air Zoom GT Cut 2, Blazer Mid 77, and Dunk Low on February 23rd, 2023 in men's and women's sizing. Set to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers online and in-store, they'll retail for $160.
