Nike Basketball is set to roll out numerous colorways for its Cosmic Unity 2 silhouette. This pair, in particular, has more to its story than just coming in University Red. WNBA star A’ja Wilson, who currently plays for the Las Vegas Aces, honors her late grandmother, Hattie Rakes, with her name stitched into the back of the tongue on this colorway of the Nike Cosmic Unity 2.
The A'ja Wilson x Nike Cosmic Unity 2 Hattie Rakes edition is a bold mix of red with black contrast stitching and speckled gold accents. The trio of colors tie in perfectly with Wilson's Las Vegas Aces away threads, along with her uniform number 22 on the lace loop of the right shoe. The cratering Nike Swoosh logo accents a white midsole and stability cage made up of Nike's Regrind rubber, as the red and black swirled outsole rubber finishes off this sneaker.
