Nike is no stranger to exploring neutral tones on a variety of silhouettes. Hot off the heels of a similarly toned Nike Cortez “Sesame,” the brand is releasing another women’s exclusive Cortez. This guava ice-tinted rendition features intricately stitched uppers and a Swoosh pattern of small triangles.   

Nike coats the entire upper of this Cortez with guava ice. Smooth leather comprises most of the makeup, with the eyestay, toe overlay, and heel overlay appearing in their regular positions. Pronounced stitching underneath the Swoosh creates a tonal stripe down the middle of the upper. Backed stitching surrounds the Swoosh, which utilizes an embossed triangle pattern across its body. Embossed Nike detailing appears on the heel quarter in melon tint. Cork graces the insoles of this model, with the design found on the Swoosh repeating on the left side. White and melon tint make up the two-tone midsole, with a sail-colored ridged outsole finishing this Cortez rendition.    

The Nike Cortez World Make W is set to release on September 15, 2023 through Nike and select retailers, online and in-store. Releasing in women’s sizing, the retail price will be $110.
