The Nike Cortez encapsulates Nike's legacy of innovation and classic design. While there's been a lull in new Cortez styles over the past few years, we’ve all been treated to some captivating renditions lately. The upcoming "Bruce Lee" colorway nods to the legendary martial artist and the memorable black and yellow jumpsuit he donned in his final film.
Delving into the design, this Nike Cortez is dressed in a combination of suezde, leather, and canvas. Vivid sulfur suede panels grace the toe, eyestays, and heel, blending with the canvas upper, tongue, and sockliner bathed in the same energetic hue. Contrasting black accents on the leather Swoosh and heel tab provide a balanced break from the yellow dominance. The heel tab further embellishes the design with neat yellow Nike embroidery. Completing the shoe is the cushy white and black foam midsole complemented by a grooved white rubber outsole.
The Nike Cortez Bruce Lee will release August 25, 2023, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $90.
