With that said, it looks like the party is set to continue until 2023 as we get a first glimpse at even more exclusive colorways, such as the Nike Cortez 23 "Running Rabbit" that has just been revealed. Filled with countless cool details that nod to both the past and the future, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
While details surrounding the "Running Rabbit" moniker are still a little fuzzy at the moment, rumor has it that this nods to the Year of the Rabbit. Boasting a premium wheat gold leather upper, an extended ale brown tongue features details that you'd normally find on a classic pair of brogues or loafers. Underfoot, the midsole has been dipped in a creamy coconut milk hue for a vintage vibe, and of course, you can't talk about this Cortez without mentioning the unique insole. Similar to the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Premium "Black Sesame" that we previewed earlier this month, it features a fluffle of rabbits illustrated in a classic black-and-white fashion. The colony of bunnies are accompanied by the original Nike logo that was designed by Carolyn Davidson back in the early '70s, finalizing the design.
The Nike Cortez 23 Running Rabbit is set to release in Spring 2023 in men's sizes. Retailing for $100, these will be available via Nike and select retailers online and in-store within the coming months.
