Nike has continually refreshed its lineup with fresh perspectives on footwear. One of the more recent ventures includes their foam-based slip-on — the Nike Calm Slide. While models like the Yeezy Slide popularized the category, the Calm Slide has not taken off the way Nike would have liked. Even still, more colorways appear on the model, including the vibrant “Bright Mandarin.”
Unlike the recently revealed “Rugged Orange" colorway, the Nike Calm Slide “Bright Mandarin” is more of a true orange hue. Constructed from EVA foam, an all-over monochromatic orange finish is applied alongside design subtleties, including the minimalistic Nike branding imprinted on the textured footbed forefoot strap. Complementing its sleek upper, the slide boasts a robust sole unit and its underbelly reveals a rubber outsole that mirrors the iconic traction pattern from the Air Force 1 Flyknit.
The Nike Calm Slide Bright Mandarin will release Holiday 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $50.
