Nike's BRSB Gets A Crispy Clean White And Black Colorway
Published
The BRSB is, no doubt, one of the Beaverton sportswear giant's most underrated skate shoes. First unveiled back in August, the silhouette gets its name from Blue Ribbon Sports, which was what Nike was originally called, and acts as the spiritual sequel to the iconic Cortez. Now, after getting a sneak peek at a handful of colorways, we're now checking out the Nike BRSB "White Black."
Featuring a unique multi-textured upper, the front half of the BRSB is crafted from buttery suede, while the back opts for a versatile nylon construction. This is contrasted by a stark black Swoosh shoots right across the lateral and medial sides, while a smaller check mark is embroidered just in front of it. Taping surrounds the exterior of the shoe to prevent any scuffs and scratches while skating, and down below, the midsole is left all white with a series of curves and grooves lining the outsole for optimal traction and grip.
The Nike BRSB White Black releases in Holiday 2022 in men's sizes. Retail is set at $90, and it'll be available via Nike and select Nike SB retailers online and in-store.
