Devin Booker started the new NBA season on a high note, dropping 43 in a victory against the old-timer Warriors. With 80 more games to play, the sky’s the limit for the Phoenix star, but if you ask Nike, it’s more like the galaxy. Booker’s latest Nike Book 2 colorway joins The Swoosh’s long history of spacey colorways, taking one small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind.

Book is the New Man on the Moon

The Nike Book 2 Full Moon is a graphic trip to the moon, covered in Swiss cheese-style craters and moon rock graphics from toe to heel, just like the iconic Nike Air Max 90 Moon Landing. The midsole adds even more moon details on the midsole matching the Swoosh and tongue in a lighter grey moonwalk shade. From above, the shoe looks like a zoomed-in telescopic look into orbit.

The heel tab adds red and blue stripes down the back of the shoe like a NASA spacesuit for a pop of color, with more grey on the laces and tongue stabilizer to keep the upper consistent. The outsole adds another hit of contrast with an icy blue bottom, just like the temperatures in outer space.
