Alongside the Dunk and Air Force 1, the classic Nike Blazer has seen a resurgence in popularity over the past few years. A streetwear staple, it's not uncommon to see them on-foot on a regular basis. While both of the aforementioned pairs are included in the latest Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection, the Blazer Mid 77 is also a part of the set.
Designed by Ayman Wamala, the Nike Blazer Mid 77 “Doernbecher” comes in a black and court purple colorway. Inspired by his alter-ego, a mysterious mind reading character, the sneaker features a black-based upper with green and purple accents. His character’s logo is found on the tongue, with faint tiger stripes that glow, along the midfoot and toebox. This same effect can be seen surrounding the silver Swoosh on the sides. A black vulcanized sole with the phrase “Life is uncertain… make fast decisions in tough situations.” written across it completes the look.
The Nike Blazer Mid 77 Doernbecher is currently set to release in 2022. It will drop at Nike exclusively, both in-store, online, and via the SNKRS app. Coming in men’s sizes, retail is set at $100. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
