The Nike AVA Rover Debuts July 2025

Online chatter around the lack of innovation at Nike may have sparked a fire in Beaverton, as future Nike releases, like the upcoming Nike GT Future, are getting increasingly more experimental and out there. On the lifestyle side, The Swoosh plans for a slew of new sneakers throughout the rest of the year, including the Nike AVA Rover.
The silhouette features a futuristic minimalist runner design, crafted as a “street-ready shoe,” according to Nike. A lightweight textile upper comes reinforced with a pixelated rubber panel on the midfoot, giving the sneaker an 8-bit-esque appearance. Below, the oversized midsole features performance-level ReactX foam and a lightweight rubber outsole featuring waffle traction.
To help kick off the Nike AVA Rover, Nike has employed Korean fashion designer Hyein Seo and her eponymous label to give the sneaker a stealthy black and green makeover. However, there are plans for six GR colorways to launch in July and two more in September.
Expect GR colorways of the Nike AVA Rover to hit shelves starting July 25, 2025. As of this writing, retail is $140 for adult sizes and $120 for GS, but that could change with the recent price increase.
