Gary Payton’s Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove is back in a big way. Before Shai, Spida, and Ja, GP made zip-up sneakers the wave. After returning earlier this summer in the original black and white colorway, the shrouded sneaker is headed back into the archives to pull out more of its classic colorways.

Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove Royal Details

Coming back for the first time since 2014, the Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove Royal dresses the silhouette’s iconic neoprene shroud in a silky smooth shade of royal blue. The shroud wraps around to the medial toe, where it is replaced by a clean white leather mudguard and sole unit. Balancing the asymmetrical toe is an enlarged Swoosh that envelopes most of the upper by stretching from the side panel to the toe.

Smaller white Swooshes can be found on the Velcro zipper closure and the lateral Zoom Air midsole. Inside the shroud, the silhouette takes on a darker hue, with black taking over the mesh innards, including the sockliner and laces. Adding a pop to the unzipped option are matching royal blue TPU support pieces that form the silhouette’s signature Monkey’s Paw tightening system. Completing the mostly blue look is a crisp white outsole.

The Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove Royal will be released on December 19, 2026 via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizes, the retail price is set at $170.
