In 1995, the Air Zoom Flight 95 introduced Nike Zoom Air, the rebranded Tensile Air that revolutionized how we view cushioning. So, Nike is giving the model a premium overhaul, redoing the Air Zoom Flight 95 with premium materials for a fresh new take on the retro Nike Basketball silhouette.
The Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 "Light Orewood Brown" features a rich, cream-colored underlay with wavy contrast stitching throughout. The overlays are a thick-cut light orewood brown color of leather, replacing the usual faux carbon fiber upper detailing. A simple black mesh tongue is reinforced by black durabuck with no additional Nike branding on the tongue. The toebox Swoosh is done in light orewood brown, while the heel Swoosh is debossed into the leather. The white midsole reveals red, blue, and yellow pods, finished by a black outsole.
The Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 Light Orewood Brown is currently set to release on August 1st, 2022. The sneakers will be released on Nike and at select Nike Sportswear retailers in men’s sizing for a retail price of $185.
