Nike's innovations in the performance running footwear market are almost unmatched, with the brand priding itself on creating the latest and greatest footwear for runners of all categories. For the most elite runners, the Alphafly NEXT% 3 is the cream of the crop. So far, the nearly $300 running sneaker has launched in two colorways: the Proto and Volt renditions. As part of Nike's Blueprint Pack, the Alphafly 3 is getting a Blueprint makeover.
Like other pairs in this collection, the color palette for this Alphafly 3 is simple: white, blue, and orange. Most of the Flyknit upper is white. Blue accents hit the Swoosh on the midfoot, which sinks into the sole unit near the toe, and the Prototype branding on the tongue tag. The same Bowerman Prototype text is also located on the insole.
Underfoot sits a high-stack ZoomX foam midsole that provides lightweight yet responsive cushioning for long-distance running. Also included in the sole unit is a full-length carbon fiber Flyplate for enhanced stability and energy return, while the exposed Zoom Air unit in the forefoot helps push you forward on your runs. This sole unit comes in white with orange accents, sitting on the exposed Zoom Air unit near the toe. Underfoot sits black, white, and orange Fast Shot outsole.
The Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% 3 Blueprint will release on July 3, 2024, via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $285.
