Originally designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Nike Air Trainer 1 made its debut on the tennis court by John McEnroe. The first cross training sneaker from the Swoosh, its legacy still lives on to this day. After getting a first look at Astrofest 2021, Travis Scott’s re-imagining of the Nike Air Trainer 1 will be joined by a revamped iteration from Nike Sportswear.

The Nike Air Trainer 1 Utility features a completely updated upper along with a new midfoot strap featuring a buckle fastener as opposed to the original velcro. Coming in coriander, ashen slate, wheat and light sienna, the new look upper is made up of various materials such as leather, synthetics, mesh and ripstop. Coriander and wheat cover the majority of the sneaker with ashen slate and light sienna serving as accents. 3M reflective detailing, a yellow Air cushioned midsole and beige outsole finish things off.

The Nike Air Trainer 1 Utility Coriander is set to release on February 11th, 2022. It will launch at Nike as well as select retailers both in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizes retailing for $140. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on this release as it gets closer.
