2023 marks the Air Pegasus line's 40th Anniversary, and to celebrate this momentous milestone, the Oregon-based sportswear giant has brought the Air Pegasus 89 back. Making its debut in three colorways, including the Nike Air Pegasus 89 "Black Anthracite," while the retro model was brought back in 2019 with an updated build, this re-release sticks to the original design from back in the day.
A must-cop especially for collectors of vintage sneakers, the Air Pegasus 89 is spotted here in its classic mesh and suede construction. Dipped completely in black, the stealthy hues totally covers the entire shoe for an understated look and feel. A dash of anthracite takes over the Nike Air branding on the tongue tag and heel, and all of this sits on top of a murdered out Air midsole that's a one-to-one remake of the OG.
The Nike Air Pegasus 89 Black Anthracite is releasing sometime in Spring 2023. It'll be available in men's sizes with a retail of $100 via Nike and select retailers online and in physical locations.
