Nike has always done a great job keeping up with current trends in streetwear fashion. These trends come and go, and the Swoosh always has a sneaker that follows current styles. The most recent trend involves chunky, vintage-looking, 2K-style runners. Nike was hip to that, bringing back the Zoom Vomero 5 and the P-6000. In 2024, Nike brought back the Air Pegasus 2K5, a retro runner from 2005. Having already released in White Black and Black Fire Red iterations, the Swoosh is set to drop a new colorway dubbed Phantom Gym Red exclusively for the ladies.
The Nike Air Pegasus 2k5 Phantom Gym Red (W) is dressed predominantly in phantom and coconut milk, with hints of white subtly intertwined around the silhouette. A gym red Swoosh can be found on the sides, toe box, and back heel, outlined in black. A full-length Nike Air cushioned midsole in coconut milk sits atop a black solid rubber outsole with waffle traction to give the wearer ultimate comfort.
The Nike Air Pegasus 2K5 Phantom Gym Red W will release in April 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, retail is set at $150.
