The Nike Air More Uptempo “Rainbow Midsole” brings the fun to the Nike Basketball classic with graphics and colors galore, while maintaining a mostly minimal upper. Made up of smooth white leather, with perforated underlays, “Dots” and “X’s” of black paint are splattered throughout the upper, complementing the black patent piping. Cracked white leather dresses the iconic “AIR” letters. The toebox Swoosh logo is wavy and sprinkled, featuring a small smiley face stitched into it.
What truly stands out is the green-to-orange-to-hot pink midsole. The columns of Max Air also change colors as you move from the forefoot to the heel, adding to the gradient effect. The outsole features more of the same, with accenting hits of green and hot pink for the branding. Speckled laces with pink and green plastic lace loops and a green splattered tongue tag with Swoosh branding are all great hits of subtle color, but the heel features a bright green jeweled Swoosh logo that is mesmerizing to look at.
The Nike Air More Uptempo Rainbow Midsole will be released in 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Nike Sportswear retailers worldwide, in-store and online.
