Scottie Pippen's Air More Uptempo has been a basketball staple since 1996. While the silhouette has always been pretty popular over the past 26 years, in 2022, hype for the Uptempo has been off the charts. Both old school and new school sneakerheads have been lusting over the retro model, and colorways like the Nike Air More Uptempo "Phantom" are huge reasons why.
Even after almost three decades, the Uptempo has more-or-less featured the exact same design as the OG. Here, it boasts a clean phantom suede construction with light iron ore accents hitting the jeweled Swoosh at the heel. To the laterals and medials, oversized "AIR" branding can be found in white tumbled leather. Underfoot, you'll find an Air midsole that's lined with visible bubbles across both sides, and this is then contrasted with a creamy sanddrift rubber outsole that comes complete with subtle black specks, offering up a very vintage vibe.
The Nike Air More Uptempo Phantom is set to release in 2022. Expected to drop at Nike and select retailers both online and in-store in men's sizes, it'll set you back $160 a pop. Kkeep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
