Fall Back On Defense In This Nike Air More Uptempo

Since its initial debut in 1996, the Nike Air More Uptempo has seen countless colorways. A fan favorite for many due to the loud “AIR” branding popping off the sides, Nike Sportswear has now dressed the famous 90s basketball sneaker in a military-esque colorway.
This Nike Air More Uptempo, nicknamed the “Guard Dog” edition, is blacked out across the entire silhouette, minus the classic “AIR” branding in what Nike calls “Rough Green.” A black leather mudguard is layered upon a nubuck panel featuring Swoosh in a “Pilgrim” color. Sitting below the mainly nubuck upper is the iconic Max Air cushioned midsole, sitting atop a black rubber outsole. Where the colorway gets its naming convention is on the insole’s imprinted dog teeth surrounding the usual Nike Air branding.
The Nike Air More Uptempo Guard Dog is set to be released in 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers in-store and online. They will be available in full-family sizing from men down to toddler. Men's pairs will retail for $160.
