Nike Air More Uptempo Basketball (W)

While Scottie Pippen's Nike Air More Uptempo has always been popular amongst the basketball crowd, the silhouette is getting a bit of a renaissance thanks to Gen Z sneakerheads who adore retro styling and chunky looks. Over the past few months, Nike has been releasing quite a few colorways of the court-ready shoe, but the upcoming Nike Air More Uptempo "Basketball" edition takes it to another level.

Arriving in an incredibly clean "Phantom" color palette, the upper is crafted from a smooth leather construction while woven laces tie everything together. This material extends towards the tongue and heel pull tabs, and speaking of which, the latter is decorated with an oversized jeweled Swoosh that's been given a glossy finish. Underfoot, you'll find an extra chunky Air midsole complete with exposed bubbles throughout, and of course, you can't talk about this Uptempo without mentioning the giant "AIR" branding on the sides that seems to be covered in a basketball-like texture.

The Nike Air More Uptempo Basketball W is set to release in 2022. Exclusive to the ladies, it will retail for $180 at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select stockists online and in-store. Whether you're a hardcore collector or you're searching for your first pair, this is one for you, so make sure you make sure you follow us on Twitter and download our Mobile app for your best chance to cop!
