Nike's latest Air Max TW has been making waves this season. Inspired by the legendary Air Max Tailwind from the '70s, it's been reworked and revamped with futuristic design cues that make it perfect for any sneakerhead's collection. Now, as we approach stealthy season, the Beaverton brand has revealed the Nike Air Max TW "Black Anthracite."
Boasting a mixed material upper that combines black leather and anthracite mesh, the side panels are decorated with a series of chevrons that reference the aforementioned Tailwind line. A glossy "TW" badge is inlaid on the tongue, while "Nike Air" branding is finely embroidered around the heel. Shifting your focus down below, you'll find an extra chunky Max Air midsole that's housed within a Cushlon foam midsole for unparalleled comfort and response. This is surrounded by a series of visible bubbles that give the sneaker a classic-meets-contemporary vibe. Of course, you can't talk about this AMTW without mentioning the retro Pinwheel Swoosh logo that's printed on the insoles.
While the Nike Air Max TW Black Anthracite looks like something you'd rock over the Fall or Winter months, it's scheduled to release in Spring 2023. Better late than never, right? Set to drop in men's sizes for $160, these will be available via Nike and select retailers worldwide.
