At the end of 2021, we got our first glimpse of a new Air Max model dubbed the Scorpion. No doubt one of the most unique Swoosh silhouettes that we had ever seen, it’s now been given the all-black treatment with the Nike Air Max Scorpion “Triple Black.”
Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the iconic Air Max 1, there’s no other silhouette quite like the Scorpion. As stealthy as it gets, the upper is crafted from a versatile Flyknit material that harkens back to the legendary Air VaporMax. A dark grey Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, while a pull tab around the back adds a dash of convenience. Shifting your focus down below, you’ll find an extremely chunky Max Air unit that quite literally elevates this shoe to the next level. While the design is certainly controversial, if you’re in the market for a pair of eye-catching kicks then the Nike Air Max Scorpion "Triple Black" should be on the top of your list.
The Nike Air Max Scorpion Triple Black is set to release in December 2022. It will drop at Nike and select retailers worldwide, both online and in-store.
