The Nike Air Max Scorpion FK is one of the more intriguing models from the Air Max line. Nike aims with this bulbous Max Air unit to give the wearer cushioning that forms to their every step. The upper of this rendition is interesting, combining a black Flyknit upper with a chenille material surrounding the tongue and on the eyestays. Fireberry and safety orange stripes form in a wavy pattern to create the side Swoosh on this model. A thin suede mudguard leads into the black midsole, matching the black laces. The black slowly turns translucent as the midsole meets the gigantic Max Air unit this style is known for. Other details include ovular fireberry plastic logos on the tongue and heel tab that feature Nike branding in a raised and dotted pattern and a mini fireberry Swoosh on the top forefoot. A multi-directional outsole in clear and black anchors this model to the streets.
