Since its initial debut in 2016, the Nike Air VaporMax has been one of the most popular modern day Air Maxes. Its crossover appeal between mainstream and streetwear continues as Nike shows no signs of discontinuing VaporMax technology. However, advancement in tech is always one step ahead of us.
For Fall/Holiday 2022, Nike Sportswear is set to debut the all-new Nike Air Max Scorpion silhouette. Described as enhanced Air that offers “tomorrow’s comfort today,” the Air Max Scorpion features a full-length Max Air unit which looks like a mashup of the Nike Air VaporMax and Nike Air Max 2021 cushioning systems. Per Nike, the future of new Air Max silhouettes set to release through 2025 will involve adjustable Air cushioning. Finishing things off for the Nike Air Max Scorpion is a newly designed Flyknit upper with an oversized Swoosh on the heels.
The Nike Air Max Scorpion is set to be released in September 2022. It will launch at Nike as well as select retailers in-store and online.
