The Nike Air Max Plus, a silhouette that first launched in 1998, has become a fan favorite due to its distinctive design and advanced cushioning technology. For its latest take on the model, Nike is adding the silhouette to its “United In Victory” collection, which includes two versions of the AF1, one "Hemp" and the other "White," highlighted by “NU” print details.
This iteration of the Air Max Plus boasts a leather upper with wavy TPU overlays throughout the design. The sneaker is doused in a tan shade, with "NU" text covering most leather portions. A tonal tan is used for the laces, while the mesh tongue comes in a two-tone tan and white finish. Nike branding on the tongue, midfoot, and heel takes on a black and tan combo. Added details include a golden Swoosh hangtag and the phrase "United In Victory" (also spelled in Latin) stamped on the insole. A tonal tan sockliner keeps the color scheme cohesive, while the Air Max-cushioned midsole contrasts the earthy hues with its white finish. Rounding out the design is the black outsole.
The Nike Air Max Plus United In Victory Tan (W) will release July 14 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
