As we’re approaching the highly celebrated Air Max Day on March 26th, Nike has been offering plenty of styles that are a part of the line for the entire month of March. While heavy hitters like the return of the “Big Bubble” Air Max 1 are scheduled specifically for the holiday itself, we have a slew of inline releases with a series of “Metallic Silver” Air Max sneakers, like the Air Max 97 and Air Max 95, that feature toggle lacing systems ahead of the 26th. Now adding to the pack, Nike dresses the Air Max Plus Toggle in this familiar “Metallic Silver” color scheme.
Coming to us in its OG construction, we see leather overlays along the mudguard and between the upper and sole unit take on metallic silver shades while the mesh upper gets a series of TPU overlays in this same finish. These rest atop a black mesh and help form the outlined Nike Swoosh near the midfoot. Adding toggle lacing to the silhouette we see bungee loops near the mid-foot’s leather helping add lockdown to the model and coming in a tonal black/silver color palette. More hits of silver appear on the Nike Air-branded tongue tag and back on the heel’s Tuned Air logo while the design comes complete with a creamy Air Max Plus midsole paired with a black and blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max Plus Toggle Metallic Silver W is set to release on March 16th, 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
