After a four year wait, the FIFA World Cup is officially back, and soccer fans across the globe are going wild. Scheduled to be held in Qatar this year from November 20th to December 18th, Nike is getting ready with the Nike Air Max Plus "French Football Federation." An official collaboration with the Paris-based governing body, it's stuffed with loads of cool details that pay homage to the Beautiful Game.
Painted in the company's signature color scheme, this Air Max Plus boasts a breathable mesh base in obsidian with complementary leather panels wrapping around the tongue and mudguard. Luxe metallic gold accents make their way to the tongue and Swoosh branding, and to the lateral sides you'll find a small tag which reads "Nos Differences." A shortened version of the French phrase "Nos Differences Nous Unissent," this translates to "Our Differences Unite Us" in English. FFF branding is printed on the insoles as a nod to the French Football Federation, and to round it all off, the outsole is decorated with a Toile de Jouy print which is inspired by the team's Away kit.
Releasing on November 14th, 2022 just days before the start of the FIFA World Cup, the Nike Air Max Plus French Football Federation is a must-cop for football fans. Dropping in men's sizes for $180, these will be available via Nike and select retailers.
