But with the Nike Air Max Joga Bonito, The Swoosh gets to celebrate two momentous cultural touchpoints with the endlessly popular Air Max 95 and the hype around the World Cup. The Nike Air Max Joga Bonito blends the bold look of the Nike Mercurial R9, Ronaldo Nazário’s debut cleat, with the sensibility of the Air Max 95.

Nike Air Max Joga Bonito Neon Details

After leaning into the colors of Ronaldo’s debut cleat on the initial blue and yellow colorway, the Nike Air Max Joga Bonito celebrates its other origins with a colorway inspired by one of the Air Max 95’s OG colorways, Neon. The model opts for a two-tone grey across its synthetic upper with hints of dark grey on the toe and side panel and a lighter shade near the eyelets.

The wavy shapes are trimmed by a light shade of grey piping to emulate the Air Max 95’s color-shifting gradient. Lightening up the model even more are white accents on the laces, tongue, and mesh sockliner. The iconic shade of neon volt highlights the Swoosh on the lateral side as well as the mini Swooshes on the tongue and medial heel. The highlighter hue also floods the Air units it borrowed from the Air Max 95 to complete the look.
