Nike has big plans for the Air Max Flyknit Racer. After announcing the return of the original "Oreo" earlier this month, the Oregon-based sportswear company is now ready to reveal even more colorways, kicking it all off with the Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer "Volt Black." An electrifying new colorway for 2023, the sequel to the critically-acclaimed running silhouette from 2012 is about to make its way to everyone's daily rotations very soon.
Sure to turn heads wherever you go, this Air Max Flyknit Racer boasts the brand's ever-iconic Flyknit construction painted in a striking volt green color scheme. A black Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sides, just like the OG, but Nike has added a premium finish with leather detailing across the lacing system and heel counter. As you might have already gathered from its name, the midsole has been infused with a unit has been borrowed straight from the Air Max Pre-Day model which was introduced in 2021. This is then finished with a speckled rubber outsole, finalizing the hybrid design.
The Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer Volt Black is set to release in Summer 2023 in men's sizes via Nike and select online and in-store locations worldwide, with a retail price of $160.
