The “Silver Bullet” colorway of the Nike Air Max 97 is arguably the most popular for the Christian Tresser-designed silhouette. Even though it has been re-released countless times, it still remains a grail for many. Last seen in 2017, the Nike Air Max 97 OG “Silver Bullet” is back to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Air Max.

Just like the original, the 2022 iteration of the AM 97 “Silver Bullet” comes in metallic silver, university red, black, and white. The sneaker sports an all-silver upper, broken up by one white stripe just above the mudguard. Red and black hits are found in their traditional places, as well as the white midsole with visible Max Air cushioning throughout. 3M reflective details on the upper and a predominantly black solid rubber outsole keep these Air Max 97s authentic.

The Nike Air Max 97 OG Silver Bullet is set to release on November 11th, 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men, women, and gradeschool sizing. Men's and women's pairs will retail for $185 while GS will come in at $160.
