From the Air Huarache to the Dunk Low, some of the Beaverton-based brand's most iconic models have already received the tiny tick treatment, and now, it's adding another one to the line with the upcoming Nike Air Max 97 Mini Swoosh "Black Royal." Taking on Christian Tresser's ever-popular '90s silhouette, whether you're a hardcore AM97 collector or you're searching for your very first pair, this has been made with you in mind.
Simple yet striking, this Air Max 97 is split into two halves. The top half boasts a water ripple-inspired design that switches between black leather and mesh, while the bottom half, which is divided by a single line of game royal, is crafted from tumbled leather and is decorated with the namesake Mini Swoosh right at the front. Carolyn Davidson's legendary check mark can also be found across the sides and tongue, and down below, you'll spot a full length Air midsole that's as comfortable as it gets even after all these years.
The Nike Air Max 97 Mini Swoosh Black Royal is set to release sometime in 2023 in men's sizes. Expected to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers, a retail price has yet TBA.
