Nike rolls out yet another premium and fall-ready colorway of the ever-popular Air Max 97. The layers of brown suede add a cozy vibe when put up against the off-white and tan colors of the rest of the sneaker.
Tan textile used for the upper is a tightly woven material that serves as a base for this sneaker. Against the woven material are strips of brown, going from a dark suede for the panel against the midsole to an ivory white for the eyestays. Cream leather runs up the cozy, woven knit tongue while providing additional lace holes for the white laces to lock-down against. Brown pull tabs are found on the top of the tongue and the heel, with white piping and the words “Air Max” on the pull tab. The ever-so-slightly off-white midsole encapsulates the full-length Max Air cushioning unit, which features dark brown columns. A gum outsole with small ribbons of pink in-between the pods of traction act as an accent to finish off the colorway.
