With the summer months coming up just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about what shoes to add to your warm weather rotation. While pairs like the Air Max 1 Slide would probably be the obvious choice, the upcoming Nike Air Max 95 "White Igloo" definitely deserves some attention as well. One of the latest colorways to hit the Sergio Lozano-designed icon, these are as cold as ice.
Unlike most AM95s which feature a multi-material construction, this one goes back to the very basics. With a little bit of mesh poking out from the lacing system, the laterals and medials are totally decked out in layers upon layers of crisp white leather. A transparent Swoosh is finely inlaid around the heel, and all of this sits on top of a chunky Max Air midsole that comes equipped with slightly off-white bubbles. To round it all off, the outsole is finished with a light blue igloo hue, adding a very subtle pop of contrast to the otherwise monotone aesthetic.
Slated to release sometime in 2023 in men's sizes, the Nike Air Max 95 White Igloo will drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store locations globally with a retail price of $185.
