Going back in the Air Max lines history, the Air Max 95 brought with it the wavy side panels that would eventually be perfected with the Air Max 97. A favorite for plenty of rappers, runners, and Air Max heads alike, Nike is giving us a neutral-tone look on the upcoming Nike Air Max 95 "Cobblestone."
Coming in its standard construction of nubuck, suede, and mesh, the silhouette takes on varying shades of grey. Around the toebox, a hairy suede in light grey runs mid-way up the grey mesh tongue, allowing the tonal laces to work underneath. Following the wavy-like pattern from toe to heel you’ll notice the aforementioned mix of nubuck, leather, and mesh in varying tonal greys, and a light tan that houses a silver Nike Swoosh embroidered on the heel. More Nike branding appears on the heel and insole as well as an Air Max tag atop the tongue. Rounding out the look is the white midsole featuring exposed Max Air units on the heel and forefoot paired with a grey rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max 95 Cobblestone is set to release on June 8th, 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
