Nike’s Air Max 90 is one of the many silhouettes that has come from the mind of Tinker Hatfield. Known for its distinctive shape and high comfort levels, the Air Max 90 has released many variations over the years, including a recently revealed Spray Paint themed design. Another upcoming iteration from Nike is this neutrally painted "Photon Dust" colorway.
Sail textile graces the base of this variation, coming in a line pattern similar to corduroy. A tumbled leather overlay in photon dust covers this layer. Overlapping the overlay is a sleek, smooth white leather Swoosh. A dark grey mudguard sits below, with a cutout featuring plastic Air Max branding in matching white and photon dust. This branding returns to the heel, appearing on an even larger plastic badge in the same palette. A photon dust patch adorns the tongue, with sail laces on top. More sail covers the classic Air Max 90 midsole, with photon dust appearing on the shank surrounding the Max Air unit. A two-tone outsole in photon dust and sail featuring black and white speckles throughout finishes things off for this pair.
The Nike Air Max 90 Photon Dust Sail is set to release August 23rd, 2023, through Nike and select retailers, online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price will be $130.
